Founders Day 2023

Kappa Kappa Gamma is more than an organization. It’s an enduring sisterhood defined by the inputs of all of its members — both past and present. For 153 years, we’ve drawn on the individual talents and experiences of Kappas everywhere to create, shape and sustain something that’s truly special. As we look to the future together, we remain resolute in support of our mission to unite women to learn, grow and inspire positive change throughout their lives.

While Kappa Kappa Gamma has changed a lot since 1870, our connections to each other remain firmly rooted in friendship. That’s what I love most about our Fraternity. And that’s what I see when I envision the Kappa of the future: a group of women connected by moments of love, laughter and togetherness.

Today, as we celebrate Founders Day, I’m reminded that every day is worth celebrating our sisterhood. I hope you’ll join me in donning your blue and blue and wearing your letters and little gold key to show your love of Kappa, ever true. As we honor the past, we must continue to focus on sustaining our sisterhood and boldly dream about the endless possibilities for our future. Here’s to another 153 years!
